Selwood, Crowe and Whitehouse return for your 2014-15 Barons
______
...And an enormous welcome back to some of our key Sponsors
Motor Nation Barons welcome back three key players for 14-15

Selwood was a key in the Barons first line of defence in 2013-14.

Darren Bellerby continues to build the Barons for next season's Laidler Division campaign. A big thumbs-up for many will be the return of first line defenceman Ryan Selwood.

The 26 year old, played as a junior at Solihull before embarking on a career which saw him ice at all levels in the UK game.

Last season Selwood combined solid defensive play with a turn of pace and an eye for goal to rack up 34 points for the Barons.

Whitehouse has emerged from the junior Barons to be a hard-working young forward.

The Barons also welcome back 21 year old forward Andy Whitehouse for a fourth consecutive season with the senior Solihull Barons.

Not flashy but dedicated, 21 year old Whitehouse has let his play do his talking, doubling his points production each year with the Barons and culminating with a senior career best 31 points last season.

Crowe has shown all the qualities of a top rank young defenceman.

Another important signing for Bellerby was a key youngster in the form of defenceman Richard Crowe who fully stepped up to the senior Barons squad in 13-14 having combined U18 and senior play for the previous two seasons.

Focussing on keeping the work down for the Barons netminders, Crowe did so while maintaining a strong disciplinary record. Perhaps the most pleasant surprise however of a solid all round 13-14 campaign from Crowe was an imense slapshot which earned him four goals last season.

Crowe's season culminated in collecting the Young Player of the Season honours at the end of year awards.

Laidler Play-offs Return to Solihull

After last season's successful Laidler Conference play-offs, it has been announced that these will return to Solihull once more. Further details nearer the time.
