Adz returned to wearing a Baron's Jersey last season after having a season or two out from competitive hockey and rapidly became a vital part of our defence. Posting career best figures of 33 Points (9 +24) in 24 Games for the Barons which saw him earn the Coaches Player of the Year and also lead to him icing with the Edinburgh Capitals in the EIHL last season to help the struggling Scottish Side. 

On his first Re-signing of this season Coach Darren Bellerby commented on his first returnee “Last season was the first time I had worked with Adz. It was soon apparent that he had the leadership skills and attitude that I wanted within the team and with the experience he brings with him soon lead to him becoming our Assistant Captain and one of the Go-To guys on the team, This season I will be giving him the added responsibility of wearing the “C” for the 2011/2012 season. Adz is one of the guys I can depend on and go to if need be. He will make time for anyone but most of all his commitment is second to none. He is the first at the rink and last to leave and makes sure everyone is giving 110% week in week out and I'm very happy to have him back to lead us in the ENL1 Campaign this season."
