The first import to the Barons and returning for the 2011/2012 will be Slovakian Erik Bakalar “Backsy” as we all know him will again return to the Barons after having career best figures last year of 31+51=82 points and helping the Barons to secure promotion to ENL1 North. Next season Erik returns eager to succeed again and will link up with young Richard Slater to mount their charge on the ENL1 league next season. 

Erik enters his 5th season with the Barons and is one of the players that just fits in, stated Coach Bellerby. "Erik can turn a game on his own and as he proved last season if he is not scoring goals then he is making sure that others around him are. You can see by his stats that Erik is one of the imports that will not just think about himself but others as well and that’s the kind of guys and team I want this season. I'm delighted Erik has decided to sign again this season."
